My brother moved into his new home just recently, and one of the main attraction in his home, is definitely his patio. In fact, his patio is equipped with exotic furniture and even a barbeque pit, and we love to hang out in his patio as we like the extremely comfortable environment. Apparently, my brother would love to place several patio umbrellas around the patio area, as the patio umbrella can shield us from the upcoming hot summer sun. A quick search off the internet pointed me to Amazon.com, which sells some of the best and most durable patio umbrellas at reasonable rates too. Well, if you too are shopping for a patio umbrella, perhaps you should shop for one via Amazon.com. |

Gigantic data centers would consume tremendous amount of energy in order to satisfy its insatiable appetite for power. And judging by the fact that Google runs gigantic data centers across the continent, these data centers would definitely take up enormous slices of power off the power grid.
Nevertheless, it appears companies like Google and Facebook recognizes the need to tap into renewable sources of power, and over the past couple of years, Google has been pretty busy acquiring such power centers. And just recently, Google has announced that they bought an entire 72MW wind farm in Maevaara, Sweden, in which the power would be channeled to their data center for the next 10 years to Google’s data center. The wind farm will begin selling their power to Google by 2015.

Just recently, my brother bought a fairly large home which has a sizable front garden and backyard. And judging by the fact that his new home has ample amount of outer space, he told me that he wanted to construct a gazebo at his backyard, so that he can enjoy afternoon tea at the gazebo. Of course, he’ll also place a barbeque pit next to the gazebo too, as he wants to hold weekly barbequing sessions at his backyard. Judging by the fact that he’ll be barbequing next to the gazebo, I promptly suggested that he should get metal gazebos instead, as such gazebo can withstand the heat from the barbeque pit. A quick search off the internet pointed me to www.empirepatiocovers.com, which sells high quality gazebos at reasonable rates, which I think is perfect for my brother’s backyard. |

One of the biggest acquisitions that took place this quarter of the year, is Yahoo has acquired Tumblr, in one of their largest expansion plans this year. According to an insider’s source, it looks like Yahoo will be shelling out $1.1 billion in the Tumblr acquisition. Although $1.1 billion looks like a huge sum of money, Yahoo has cash in their coffers, estimated at $5 billion.
Of course, the acquisition news didn’t go down well in the blogosphere, whereby when the acquisition news hit the streets, over 72,000 Tumblr users have migrated out to Wordpress – that’s 400 to 600 user accounts per hour! Apparently, users are put off by Yahoo’s track record in shutting down their acquisitions, namely, Delicious, Geocities, and even Broadcast.com.
