2008 Time Capsules owners take note! Apparently, Apple is offering free repairs or replacements for the Time Capsules. Generally, it seems that the 2008 Time Capsules are plagued by random deaths, whereby owners are caught off-guard, whereby their Time Capsules might unexpectedly crash and suffer from a fatal malfunction which renders the machine to be somewhat useless. Basically, users who have bought the first batch of the 2008 Time Capsules, which were released between February and June 2008 will encounter such fate with their machines. Hence, Apple is offering free repairs on the machine or perhaps you can even opt for a replacement for the machine, which is far more reliable than the first generation machines.
