It seems both the Aspire 3811TZ and Aspire 3811TZG got some green award lately, and this will surely put Sony’s VAIO Eco laptop into shame. Generally, these laptops are endorsed by Greenpeace, whereby the materials used to construct the laptop are free from PVC, and BFR materials.
On the other hand, both of these laptops are powered by the latest Intel ULV Core 2 Duo CPUs, which gives it energy saving capabilities – another point added to the Greenpeace award.
Personally, I’m a little skeptical over the green materials used on these laptops. Generally, these materials have higher bio-degradable properties, so wouldn’t your laptop melt into the ground (bio-degrade) after XXX years of usage?
