The fuel cell concept is surely a very attractive energy generating concept indeed. And when it comes to green energy generating technology, it seems that K.R. Sridhar has created something rather significant, and it’s called the Bloom Box. According to the founder of Bloom Energy, he has managed to convert one of NASA’s scrapped technologies into a fuel cell. This particular technology utilizes oxygen as well as other fuel, such as natural gas, bio gas from landfill waste, solar, in order to create electricity.
On the other hand, the Bloom Box has already scored tremendous amount of success in the private sector, whereby corporate giants like Google, FedEx, Walmart, and eBay are already utilizing the technology to help generate electricity for their operation.
Well the Bloom Box is expensive though, whereby corporate models might cost you something between $700,000 to $800,000.
