We all know that batteries will not last a year after prolonged usages. Generally, these used batteries will ooze out some liquid in which will damage your electronics at the end of the process. Nevertheless, it also seems that Eamex which is based in Osaka, Japan, has created a lithium-ion battery that can last up to 20 years of regular usages. And if you translate 20 years of usage, that is equivalent to 10,000 charges!

Generally, Eamex also disclosed their secret in extending the battery’s life. According to the company, they replaced the battery’s negative electrode with a new tin-coated resin which stabilizes the electrode, and ultimately helps it to deter deterioration.

I’m thinking that if such batteries are feasible to produce, I’m sure every battery makers will coat their electrodes pretty soon, don’t you think so?
