A few of years ago, my home was infested by fire ants. In fact, these ants were so difficult to get rid of, I had to call in the experts to help me deal with the fire ant problems. Basically, the pest control company unloaded tremendous amount of pesticide inside my home, and somehow I regretted calling them to deal with my pest problems, as clearly, I don’t feel comfortable living with pesticide. Of course, this prompted me to search for additional ideas for how to kill red ant colonies. According to certain reliable sources on the internet, it seems that fire ant colonies can be destroyed simply by killing the colony’s queen ant. And with the queen gone, the fire ants will not have the ability to reproduce, and the ant colony will gradually be destroyed eventually. Generally, it’s practically impossible to search for the queen fire ant, but it seems that there are several specialized methods to lure the queen ant into consuming poisonous bait. On the other hand, you can also try pouring boiling water inside a colony as this particular method proved to be very effective in killing these fire ants. Well if you are looking for alternative methods to kill fire ants, perhaps you should try some of my recommended methods instead?
