Surely, all the big players that were involved in the MeeGo project has already started distancing themselves from the so-called failed project, as clearly, the MeeGo is sinking fast, as the only supporter left is none other than Intel. In fact, both Nokia and Sony Ericsson have already axed the MeeGo project, and they even blamed the Android for their failed efforts.
Nevertheless, just when the MeeGo faced uncertainties in its future, Intel has stepped in to fully support the mobile operating system. In fact, Intel has been pushing MeeGo rather actively just recently, whereby various Intel ads were seen carrying the MeeGo. Also, speculators are saying that Intel’s main reason for the ads were to stimulate the market’s developers to start developing applications for the MeeGo platform. Surely, with the Android facing uncertainties in the future, as they are currently being sued for copying large bulk of Java codes, I’m sure Intel is betting that the Android might be destroyed in the near future, so the safest bets is on MeeGo instead.
