Have you heard the latest news from CEO Paul Otellini? Well apparently, Intel has already lineup a huge selection of Atom-based tablets, whereby these tablets will make a debut in 2011. Basically, there will be as many as 35 Atom-based Moorestown tablets that would be released in 2011, whereby Toshiba, Dell, Fujitsu, Acer, ASUS, and Lenovo will be the mainstream manufacturers for these tablets.
On the other hand, Paul Otellini also mentioned that Medfield-based smartphones won’t be available anytime soon, and he forecasted that the processors would arrive sometime in mid-2011. Surely, with so many competitors inching closer towards Intel’s success in the respective niche microprocessor market, I’m sure Intel has plenty to do in order to stay ahead of the competition.
