Intel Pays $1.25 Billion for Antitrust and IP Lawsuits PDF Print E-mail

Earlier, Intel was involved in one of the hottest court battles in history, whereby the electronics giant was being sued by AMD and the antitrust group for monopolizing the market, which creates a rather market environment which was unfavorable to AMD. Of course, the court has ordered Intel to pay a whopping $1.25 billion in compensation to the respective organizations.

Personally, I’m pretty sure that Intel has the financial might to pay off their competitors. With the global market rallying behind Intel’s revolutionary products, it’s pretty hard not to use Intel’s products in our everyday lives.

Do you think that the $1.25 billion fine for Intel justifies their antitrust actions?
