Nintendo Trims DSi and DSi LL Prices |

Good news! If you have been eyeing the Nintendo DSi and DSi LL for sometime now, I believe that you’d rejoice, as Nintendo is planning to cut the price for these handheld gaming consoles. Basically, starting June the 19th, Nintendo will be slashing the DSi’s price to ¥15,000 ($165), while the more advanced DSi LL will be sold at ¥18,000 ($198).
Generally, the price cut move is touted to help Nintendo to maintain their dominance over the handheld gaming console market. On the other hand, Nintendo is also planning a debut for their 3DS at the upcoming E3, which will be held within the next couple of weeks.
Also, you’d be delighted to know that Nintendo will be adding new color options for the DSi LL, whereby there will be additional blue, yellow and green jumbo DSis, starting June the 19th.
