NTT DoCoMo is the brainchild behind the speedy wireless networks, namely the 3G and also the 4G networks. Surely, NTT DoCoMo is extremely active in researching and developing next-gen networks, and their latest work is none other than the 802.11ac wireless LAN solution. According to NTT, this particular wireless LAN solution might be adopted in 2012.
Apparently, the 802.11ac wireless LAN has a higher throughput, in which the solution can transmit up to 120Mbps wirelessly. Also, if NTT’s research goes pretty well for the next couple of month, the company will be set to start commercializing on the system, within a dew years. Surely, 4G networks have yet to be widely adopted by the mainstream networking companies – I’m thinking that this next-gen network might be fully capitalized in the next 3 years time?
