Just last year, RIM announced to the world that they will reduce their overall workforce by the thousands, due to weak sales for their mobile phone solutions. And judging by the fact that the world economy sank into recession earlier this year, RIM has recorded record-breaking sales every month. Personally, I find RIM’s decision to sack their workers to be very controversial indeed.
On the other hand, it also seems that RIM has yet again made another record-breaking event, when it comes to their overall sales for Q3 this year. The company confirmed that they made Q3 earnings which amounted to $628 million from a record breaking sales of 10 million units of BlackBerry sold.
So did you just buy a BlackBerry for Christmas this year?
