If you are a fan of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, you ought to know that Samsung has just unveiled the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab counterpart, in which is an addition to the existing 10.1-inch, and 7-inch version. Basically, the 8.9-inch tablet was unveiled back in March, and Samsung even placed the $469 price-tag on the machine too. And if you analyze the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 closely, you’d noticed that the previous version that was unveiled in March was much thinner than the ones that you see in the current market.
Apparently, speculators have unofficially mentioned that the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab is inexplicably bigger than its originally intended size. The sources also mentioned that Samsung is having trouble getting ample supply of 8.9 G1F touch-screen panels, which is one film layer lesser than the conventional GFF panels. Basically, the G1F architecture is used in Samsung’s Super Clear LCD, which is seen in the Galaxy Player, (Russian) Nexus S, and Wave II handsets. And since Samsung used the older GFF, it’s practically 30-40 percent thicker in and dimmer.
