Microsoft is very cunning and extremely smart when it comes to protecting their gaming console sales rights. Generally, hardware manufacturers that want to manufacture gaming components for the Xbox will need to acquire licenses to distribute these wares into the market. Generally, SanDisk has released their very first Xbox 360 USB flash drive, and this particular drive is licensed under Microsoft.
Basically, the SanDisk Xbox 360 USB flash drive allows you to save your games, gamertags, Arcade downloads, or perhaps map packs into the storage unit, and you can even transfer such data from one console to another conveniently. On the other hand, the SanDisk Xbox 360 USB flash drive promotes the plug-and-play connectivity, whereby all you need to do is to plug in the device and start using it.
According to SanDisk, the 8GB storage unit will be available for purchase for $34.99, while the 16GB drive is sold at $69.99. Also, SanDisk will be throwing in a month’s worth of Xbox Live Gold for buyers, which I think is a great bonus.
