With so many aviation experts breaking down aviation records worldwide, it seems that the aviation industry has yet to achieve a 24 hours flight around the globe, with an aircraft powered by solar energy. Nevertheless, Captain Piccard is set to break this record, whereby he has already specially designed the Solar Impulse that will be used to conquer the conquest.

Nevertheless, the latest reports have indicated that the Solar Impulse has successfully completed its 24 hours flight, whereby it flew for 26 straight hours. Generally, the Solar Impulse is powered by 12,000 solar cells, and it can even fly at the height of 29,000 feet.
