Remember just a couple of months ago, when tech specialists introduced the world’s first 40-gigabit network which created a storm in the networking community? Well it seems that the 40-gigabit network is already outdated, whereby AT&T has successfully built a 100-Gigabit backbone network technology, which supercedes almost every network which are found in today’s market.
Generally, this particular network utilizes Cisco latest super router, which can provide connected nodes up to 100-gigabit of transfer speeds. Imagine transferring a whole DVD in a click of a button, I’m pretty sure you’ll agree with me that the underlying technology is pretty fantastic right?
On the other hand, AT&T disclosed that this technology isn’t available for the commercial market yet, and they further mentioned that it might be available in the next few years, which I find the answer to be very vague, don’t you think so?
